bwlford cl
Set on our working smallholding, our CL site comprises of a 2 acre field with 5 grass pitches (some slightly sloping) and 2 hardstanding pitches. Each grass pitch has EHU and a water tap. The CCEP is located in the bottom corner of the field.
We welcome adults, children and well behaved dogs. Our guests are welcome to explore the 13 acre smallholding and woodland, visit our animals and children are very welcome to help us collect eggs or feed the pigs. We have a gated coarse lake stocked with Carp and silvers, which guests are permitted to fish day and night (charges apply).
dog friendly & walking
We welcome well behaved 4 legged friends here at Bwlford. On the CL we ask that dogs be kept on a lead, but we have a gated orchard to the side of the CL which can be used to give pooches a run off lead if they are trained to come back. Pembrokeshire prides itself on being a dog friendly destination, and many of the pubs and cafes will welcome them.
The nearest beach (Broad Haven) is only 3 miles away, and for keen walkers, the coastal path can be reached within a 10 minute drive. Family attractions e.g. Folly Farm, Oakwood, Heatherton and Tenby are all within a 25 minute drive, and the wonderful offerings of Pembrokeshire National Park, e.g. Castell Henllys in North Pembrokeshire can be reached within a 40 minute drive.
LOCATION
Located between Haverfordwest and Milford Haven, our CL site is easily accessed and offers the perfect location for those wishing to sample all Pembrokeshire has to offer.
The nearby village of Johnston, which is within walking distance, has a number of pubs, convenience stores, a pharmacy, a lovely bakery and has regular bus and rail links.
other information
For cycling enthusiasts, Cycle Route 4 can be picked up in the village, and there are other routes including the Celtic Trail.
Johnston has a train station and bus stops, allowing guests an alternative method of transport around the county and beyond.
We run an environmentally friendly smallholding, and as such, provide basic facilities for recycling and refuse disposal.
We kindly ask that guests use ONLY eco friendly chemicals such as Elsan Organic in our CCEP as all waste is processed in a biotank and fed out into our fish pond. We do keep some onsite for purchase. Under NO circumstance can blue or pink chemicals be used.
Hardstand pitches
We have a hardstanding area separate to the CL field which owners of bigger motorhomes may prefer. There is room for 2 outfits and EHU. If you would like a hard stand pitch, please ask when booking as this will be subject to availability.
